Helping Patients Breathe Easier

Pulmonary and Critical Care is a branch of medicine related to diseases and disorders affecting the lungs and respiratory system.

At Regional West Physicians Clinic-Pulmonology, Critical Care, our board certified physicians and provider deliver outstanding care for patients with pulmonary disease and critical illness using clinical evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment services.

Our team works closely with our patients’ primary care physicians, providers, and other specialists to coordinate seamless, comprehensive care. Because specialized treatment and support are available right here at home, patients spend less time traveling for appointments and more time living their lives.

We provide clinical services for the following conditions:

  • Asthma
  • Chronic bronchitis
  • Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
  • Cough evaluation
  • Critical care/medical ICU care
  • Cystic fibrosis
  • Emphysema
  • Lung cancer
  • Pneumonia
  • Pulmonary hypertension
  • Sarcoidosis

Appointments

We would appreciate a 24-hour advance notice for all appointment cancellations so we can offer that time to another patient.

Payments and Billing

Charges are payable at the time treatment or services are given. Patients with insurance are expected to pay the amount of their insurance co-pay at the time of service. Patients without insurance are expected to pay in full the day services are provided. We realize that medical services are not always planned for, and payment plans are available. For billing questions, please call 308-630-2930.

In some cases, diagnostic tests may need to be sent to other specialized facilities, which will bill you separately for their services.

Insurance

As a convenience to our patients, Regional West Physicians Clinic-Pulmonology, Critical Care will file insurance claims with both your primary and secondary carriers. Any remaining balance after a response from your insurance company will be your responsibility.

Medication refills

To refill a prescription, please contact your pharmacy, which will then call us to confirm the refill. Please allow two business days to process a refill request. If it has been a year or more since you were seen in the clinic, you will need to set up an appointment before refills are authorized.

If you receive prescriptions by mail, please bring the appropriate forms with you to your visit and your provider can complete the order at that time.

Appointment No-Shows and Late Arrivals-It is the policy of Regional West Physicians Clinic to monitor and manage appointment no-shows and late appointments. Any patient who arrives 15 minutes after their scheduled appointment time is considered late for his or her appointment. Regional West Physicians Clinic will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the patient within the patient session or to reschedule the patient at the earliest possible time, based on the nature of the presenting reason for the visit and the patient’s wishes.
