Regional West Foundation Announces Health Care Scholarship

SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb., – The Regional West Foundation Scholarship Committee announces that a scholarship of up to $10,000 is now available for students of Regional West service area who are undertaking or furthering careers in health care. The scholarship will pay up to $5,000 per semester. Applications for scholarships are available and are due on or before May 31, 2018.

Eligible students must be enrolled a full time student in a designated program as a sophomore, second level, or higher, with a 3.2 GPA. They must intend to pursue employment in Regional West’s service area. Scholarship funds are paid directly to the school. They may be used to cover education expenses including tuition, books, and fees.

The scholarships are available for students pursuing an Associate of Science in Nursing at Western Nebraska Community College; a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Nursing, Western Division in Scottsbluff; or radiologic technology at Regional West Medical Center School of Radiologic Technology.
