New Physician Joins Regional West Emergency Department/Trauma Center
SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb., ― A new physician recently joined Regional West’s Emergency Department/Trauma Center team.
Christian Borton, MD, is a physician with Regional West Physicians Clinic-Emergency Medicine. As Nebraska’s only Level II Trauma Center west of Kearney, Regional West serves as a regional referral center for western Nebraska, eastern Wyoming, southern South Dakota, and northern Colorado. The Emergency Medicine team works closely with the region's critical access hospitals as well as pre-hospital services, including volunteer basic life support services, ALS ambulance services, and the Air Link flight service.
Dr. Borton earned a medical degree from the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine, Tampa, and completed emergency medicine residency training at Penn State Milton Hershey Medical Center, Hershey, Pennsylvania; and the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center, Harrisburg.
