Mechanical Issues Impact Air Conditioning at Regional West Medical Plaza South
SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb., - Due to mechanical issues, minimal air conditioning will be available for Regional West’s Medical Plaza South until Wednesday, June 27th. Medical Plaza North and other parts of the Regional West campus are NOT affected. Patients who are particularly sensitive to heat and have appointments in Medical Plaza South should call to reschedule.
Only one of two chillers is currently operational. A replacement chiller is on site, will be lifted onto the roof today, and will be operational on Wednesday.
Between approximately 5:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. this evening, the non-functioning chiller unit will be removed and the new unit will be lifted into place. During this time, all floors in the southeast corner of Medical Plaza South will need to be clear of staff and patients.
