Annual Thelma Jones Memorial Golf Scramble Tees Off Monday
SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb., – The Thelma Jones Memorial Golf Scramble, hosted by Regional West Foundation, will be held Monday, July 11 at the Scotts Bluff Country Club.
The annual event has taken place on the second Monday in July for more than two decades. It involves more than 260 golfers, volunteers, and community sponsors.
The Thelma Jones Memorial Golf Scramble is named in honor of a longtime friend of Regional West Medical Center who died of cancer in 1989. Proceeds from the annual event help to support the hospital’s mission of excellence in health care.
Funds raised through this year’s golf scramble will benefit the Regional West Birth & Infant Care Center Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
