Flu Shots Available For Businesses And Individuals
SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb., -To ensure that those who still need a flu shot get one, Regional West Medical Center Community Health department is offering vaccinations for individuals by
appointment throughout the month of December. In addition, Community Health nurses will take flu shots to the workplace for businesses interested in offering work site clinics.
Flu shots are recommended for:
--Persons over age 65
--Persons with chronic medical conditions such as asthma, diabetes or heart disease
--Household members and caregivers of children or elderly persons
--Children six months through four years of age
--Health care workers
The cost for flu shots is $25. Payment may be made by cash or check. Medicare Part B will be billed for those who bring their card.
