Regional West to Offer Free Speech Screenings for Children
Scottsbluff, Neb., – Regional West Medical Center speech language pathologists will provide free speech screenings for children on Tuesday, May 23 from 3 to 6 p.m. The screenings are available to children from birth to age 16 and will be held in the Rehab Center at Regional West Medical Plaza South (across from the Air Link helicopter hanger).
Speech screening may be beneficial for children who have difficulty with speech production, language, communication, and/or swallowing/feeding skills. The screenings will determine if further evaluation is needed. If so, an evaluation can be scheduled for another date. Same day appointments will be scheduled for those traveling from outside the Scottsbluff-Gering area.
To schedule a screening time or for more information, call the Rehab Center at 308-630-1355.
