Regional West Foundation Announces Health Care Scholarship
SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb., – The Regional West Foundation Scholarship Committee announces that a scholarship of up to $10,000 is now available for students of Regional West service area who are undertaking or furthering careers in health care. The scholarship will pay up to $5,000 per semester. Applications for scholarships are now available and are due on or before May 31, 2012.
Eligible students must be enrolled in a designated program as a sophomore, second level, or higher, with a 3.5 GPA. They must also have a desire to pursue employment in Regional West’s service area.
Designated programs are: Associate Degree of Nursing at Western Nebraska Community College; Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Nursing, Western Division in Scottsbluff; or Radiologic Technology at Regional West Medical Center School of Radiologic Technology.
