Regional West recently recognized Nick Gabel as a second quarter PEARL award recipient.

The PEARL award recognizes employees for outstanding customer service, quality patient care, and teamwork reflecting Pride, Effort, Attentiveness, Respect, and Leadership. Each quarter, the PEARL committee selects individuals who exemplify outstanding teamwork and those who have gone above and beyond to take care of their patients and/or co-workers. 

Gabel is a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with Regional West Physicians Clinic-Family Medicine, Scottsbluff. “Nick is very friendly, patient and thoughtful. I think he deserves an Oscar,” read the first of his two nominations. “Nick is always willing to help his fellow Pod C coworkers. He is always trying his best to get to all his assigned tasks. He tries to get all of his coworkers together by doing carry-ins or buying coffee for everyone. He always tries his best to put others first before himself and it really shows. His teamwork is great and his patient care is beyond extraordinary, and he deserves recognition for it.”

Regional West Physicians Clinics Nurse Manager Valerie Beraun said, “Nick is mindful in making sure he is helping the patient and team the best he can. He makes his patients feel comfortable coming into the clinic.” Congratulations, Nick!
