At Regional West Physicians Clinic-Neurosurgery & Spine Center, our fellowship-trained neurosurgeons, advanced practice clinicians, and physical therapist take a team approach to spine care, working closely with other providers who specialize in pain management, physical medicine and rehabilitation, outpatient and acute rehabilitation, and orthopaedics to make sure that patients receive the best care possible while avoiding unnecessary back surgery.

If surgery is needed, neurosurgeon Omar Jimenez, MD are highly skilled in minimal incision spine surgery; repairing ruptured disks in the neck and back and fusing the vertebrae, if necessary, through an incision just one inch long.

Minimally invasive surgery is so refined that there is almost no blood loss and little impact on muscles and nerves. As a result, patients get back on their feet quickly, doing what they enjoy with fewer complications than with traditional back surgery.

In addition to his skill in minimally invasive surgery for cervical and lumbar ruptured disks, Dr. Jimenez specializes in the surgical treatment of neurological cases ranging from spinal and brain tumors, spinal stenosis, carpal tunnel, to complex trauma surgery.

Appointment No-Shows and Late Arrivals-It is the policy of Regional West Physicians Clinic to monitor and manage appointment no-shows and late appointments. Any patient who arrives 15 minutes after their scheduled appointment time is considered late for his or her appointment. Regional West Physicians Clinic will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the patient within the patient session or to reschedule the patient at the earliest possible time, based on the nature of the presenting reason for the visit and the patient’s wishes.
