Regional West Physicians Clinic-Surgery, Vascular Diagnostics is dedicated to providing comprehensive surgical services for the panhandle of Nebraska and eastern Wyoming and, as the state’s only Level II trauma center west of Kearney, provides emergency and trauma surgery services for an even larger area. If you or a loved one is facing surgery for an illness, chronic condition, or injury, our skilled, compassionate providers and staff work in conjunction with your primary healthcare providers to provide a seamless transition between hospital and home.

In conjunction with Regional West Imaging Services, our clinic also offers minimally invasive (laparoscopic) surgery. Laparoscopic surgery uses the latest technology to make smaller incisions (called ports, and usually located far from the surgery site) and perform the surgery with specialized instruments and cameras. Laparoscopic surgery is popular because they typically include shorter recovery times, less pain, and less scarring than traditional surgery.

As a regional referral center, Regional West is pleased to offer advanced, minimally-invasive da Vinci® robotic surgery to the patients we are proud to serve.

Over the past 25 years, surgical techniques have evolved from open surgery to minimally-invasive laparoscopic procedures to robotic surgery. Robotic surgery can improve outcomes and potentially reduce complications, especially in urological surgery, gynecological surgery, and upper and lower abdominal surgery.

Appointment No-Shows and Late Arrivals-It is the policy of Regional West Physicians Clinic to monitor and manage appointment no-shows and late appointments. Any patient who arrives 15 minutes after their scheduled appointment time is considered late for his or her appointment. Regional West Physicians Clinic will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the patient within the patient session or to reschedule the patient at the earliest possible time, based on the nature of the presenting reason for the visit and the patient’s wishes.
