Regional West Welcomes Kaycee, First Baby of 2024
SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb., ― Regional West welcomed its first baby of the new year at 7:32 a.m. on Jan. 2.
Kaycee Allen Carlson, son of Justin and Linsey Carlson, is the first baby born in 2024 at Regional West’s Birth and Infant Care Center, weighing in at seven pounds, eight ounces, and 20 inches long.
Regional West Birth and Infant Care Center nurse Jami Kumm, RN, presented the family with an assortment of baby gifts and a commemorative onesie, which is a Regional West tradition for the first baby born each year at the medical center. Baby Kaycee is also the first baby born in Regional West’s 100th anniversary year.
