Drive-Through Flu Clinic Postponed
SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb., -The drive-through flu clinic scheduled for Saturday, October 28 is being postponed until November 11.
Although there is no shortage of flu vaccine this year, manufacturers are only shipping partial orders at this time. Clinic sponsors Regional West Medical Center and Horizons West Medical Group received enough vaccine for the clinic last Saturday, but the remainder of the order is not expected to ship until next week.
The drive-through clinic will be held from 8 a.m. to noon, Saturday, November 11 at the Regional West Medical Plaza South parking lot.
Flu shots will also be available for children and adults at the regular “walk-in” clinics scheduled for November 7 and 14 at the Regional West Community Health office, located at the Regional West Medical Center South Unit. Pneumonia shots will also be offered at the walk-in clinics.
