Regional West's Cancer Services works closely with patients' physicians and providers to coordinate clinical trial referrals covering a number of disease sites. We encourage cancer patients to contact their physician or the Cancer Treatment Center at 308-630-1348 with any questions regarding potential study qualifications or enrollment.

Regional West Medical Center Cancer Services program is accredited by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer.

From the moment patients first enter the Cancer Treatment Center, Regional West's employees, physicians, and providers help them face their disease with confidence and determination, providing support every step of the way.

The first step in diagnosing cancer includes a comprehensive clinical evaluation using a wide range of diagnostic tools, which may include laboratory tests, X-ray exams, and a biopsy of the suspected abnormality. The clinical evaluation may also require the use of advanced diagnostic tools to determine the origin and extent of the disease.

Our Approach to Cancer Care

Because cancer diagnosis and treatment often involve several physicians and cancer care services, navigating the process can be overwhelming. That’s where Regional West’s team approach to cancer shines.

Thanks to an enhanced partnership between Regional West Health Services and UCHealth, a 12-hospital system based in Aurora, Colorado, cancer patients in western Nebraska have increased access to the region’s most advanced cancer care.

A helping hand

With a little individualized support, Assisted Living residents enjoy the privacy of their own apartment and the opportunity to stay active, engaged, and living life to the fullest. Residents enjoy daily activities, special events, friendly neighbors, and a dedicated team of caregivers who get to know you like family. The level of care provided varies with each resident. It may include assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, or medication administration. An RN is on-site full-time, and in addition, an RN consultant is available 24 hours a day.
