Cancer Survivors Picnic to be held July 16
SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb., ― Regional West Cancer Services invites cancer survivors throughout the area and their support persons to the Cancer Survivors’ picnic at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, July 16 at Frank Park in Scottsbluff. Hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, condiments, and drinks will be provided.
The annual event unites families, friends, physicians, and other members of the cancer care team to celebrate cancer survivors and their personal victories. The gathering also acknowledges the vital role that families, friends, and other caregivers play in the lives of cancer survivors.
The Cancer Survivors’ picnic will be held at the octagonal shelter at Frank Park, located on 27th Street between First and Second Avenues in Scottsbluff. In case of inclement weather, the event will move indoors to the Cancer Treatment Center.
