New Diabetes Support Group For Teens Meets July 29
SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb., – The Teen Adult Diabetes Support Group will hold its first meeting on Tuesday, July 29 at 7 p.m. at Regional West Medical Plaza South, Room 1202, 3911 Avenue B, Scottsbluff.
Sponsored by Regional West Physicians Clinic-Diabetes Care Center, the new diabetes support group is designed to address the special needs and concerns of teenagers. The meeting is free and open to area teens who have diabetes.
Support group discussion topics will include: coping with diabetes, living realistically with diabetes, gaining support from others, stress management, problem solving, diabetes education and management.
