Regional West Home Care Celebrates National Home Care Month
SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb.,– Each year, more than 11 million Americans receive home-delivered care from home health care providers. During National Home Care month in November, Regional West Home Care honored the professionals who offer their skills, experience, and caring support to patients and families who require specialized at-home medical services.
As the first home care agency in Nebraska, Regional West Home Care was founded in 1967 with the mission of providing comprehensive in-home and supportive services for chronically ill patients and their families. In addition to traditional home care, services have expanded to include pediatric, psychiatric, private duty, wound care, medication administration instruction, infusion therapy, and rehabilitative services.
“Our interdisciplinary team goes above and beyond to make a positive difference for our patients,” said Diana Rohrick, Director of Regional West Home Care. “Our goal is to return control to the patient once they return home as we complete the circle of care.”
Regional West’s Home Care team offers patients the independence they desire while providing health care otherwise only available in a hospital or nursing home setting. This saves patients undue stress and expense, while affording them the chance to play an active role in their recovery.
“Caring for home care patients is truly a privilege,” said Rohrick. “It’s very rewarding to help people remain in the comfort of their own home while getting the care they need.”
Regional West Home Care is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) and is a certified Medicare/Medicaid provider. For more information about Regional West’s home care services, call the Scottsbluff office at 308-630-1430.
