Regional West Physicians Clinic to Offer Free Sports Physicals in Scottsbluff and Sidney
SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb., – Regional West Physicians Clinic-Family Medicine, Scottsbluff will offer free sports physicals for area athletes in grades 8 through 12 on July 18.
The sports physical clinics will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. at Regional West Physicians Clinic-Family Medicine, located at Medical Plaza South, 3911 Avenue B, Suite 1100, Scottsbluff. No appointment is necessary.
Physicians Clinic-Family Medicine, Sidney will offer free sports physicals on July 30, and Aug 2, from 3 to 8 p.m. at 830 Pine Street, Sidney.
Sports physical forms will be available at the clinics. Students must be accompanied by a parent. The physicals are good for the 2018-2019 school year.
Immunization nurses will be available during the sports physical clinics to review required immunizations and vaccinate those who need booster shots. Prices will vary according to the type of immunization required. Payment may be made by cash or check, or insurance companies will be billed for those who bring their insurance card. Students with no insurance coverage will be eligible for the Vaccines for Children Program. No child will be turned away due to inability to pay.
Students entering kindergarten and 7th grade are required to have more in depth physicals than the free sports physicals provide. Please schedule kindergarten or 7th grade physicals at any of Regional West Physicians Clinic-Family Medicine locations: Scottsbluff, Gering, Morrill, Sidney, and Chappell.
