Buy a Chance for the Golf Ball Drop at the Regional West Foundation Golf Scramble
SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb., – Regional West Foundation is excited to announce a new event that will be held at the annual golf scramble on Monday, July 11 at the Scotts Bluff Country Club − a golf ball drop by helicopter. The event will be sponsored by Aulick’s TLC, the Lifestyle Center.
One hundred golf balls will be sold at $50 each for the ball drop and a chance for one person to win $1000. The drop will take place at 12:15 p.m. at the Scotts Bluff Country Club driving range. The ball that lands closest to the hole wins! Specific balls and numbers will NOT be given to purchasers. The balls will be numbered and assigned randomly on the afternoon of July 8. Need not be present to win! All balls must be purchased by July 8. A designated official will be present to determine the winner closest to the target. Balls can be purchased at the Scotts Bluff Country Club Pro Shop or by calling the Foundation at 308-630-1485.
The Foundation is still accepting registrations for the annual Golf Scramble. Registration forms for both individuals and teams are available at the Regional West Foundation office located on the ground floor of Regional West Medical Plaza North, and at Scotts Bluff Country Club.
Hole sponsorships are available for $400. The registration fee for a team of four individuals is $420. This includes green fees, coffee and doughnuts in the morning, box lunch, and dinner and awards ceremony following the tournament for each member of a team. Individual participants may register for $100. Extra tickets for the dinner and awards ceremony are available for $20 each.
A scramble package is available for $60 which includes individual mulligans and team mulligans and a pro shot on hole #17.
A hole-in-one contest, sponsored by Burger King® of Scottsbluff, will give participants a chance to win $5,000 prize on hole number 17.
All players will be entered in a drawing in which four players will each win $250. Flag and team prizes will be awarded at both sessions. Prizes will be paid to six teams plus a women’s team.
