Dr. Jeffrey Holloway to be Guest Speaker at Monthly Bariatric Support Group Meeting
SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb., – Bariatric surgeon Jeffrey Holloway, MD, FACS, will be the guest speaker at Regional West’s monthly bariatric support group meeting on Jan. 9. The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. in the Keith Room at Regional West Medical Center. The public is invited to attend.
Dr. Holloway, who is vice president of surgery at Regional West Physicians Clinic, specializes in the adjustable laparoscopic gastric band surgery and has performed hundreds of weight loss procedures over 20 years. He and his partner Jason LaTowsky, MD, who is fellowship-trained in both the laparoscopic gastric bypass and gastric sleeve procedures, oversee the Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence at Regional West.
Following Dr. Holloway’s presentation about bariatric surgery, there will be a question and answer period.
The bariatric support group provides support for people who are dealing with extra weight or have undergone weight loss surgery and are continuing on a weight loss journey. Meetings are free and open to the public on the second Tuesday of the month. The discussion is facilitated by certified Bariatric Support Group Leader Becca Lattin.
