SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb., – Medical Center of the Rockies, a joint venture between Regional West Health Services in Scottsbluff, Neb. and Poudre Valley Health Systems in Ft. Collins, Colo. will host a public open house on Saturday, Feb. 3, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The facility will offer an innovative robotic-assisted surgical suite and the region’s most advanced cardiac care.
The 134-bed hospital, which will open to patients on February 14, includes five stories with 500,000 square feet and was built on a 70-acre site at the intersection of Interstate 25 and U.S. highway 34 in the Centerra division of Loveland, Colo.
According to Dr. Todd Sorensen, president and CEO, Medical Center of the Rockies, is designed to offer highly specialized medical services, which are complementary to those that are offered at Regional West.
“This project is a positive step for Regional West and our patients,” said Dr. Sorensen. “One of the greatest benefits will be better access to specialized cardiac care, including open-heart surgery.”
