Scottsbluff, NE – Regional West Health Service has unveiled a new, award-winning physician recruitment campaign to attract doctors and other health care providers to western Nebraska. The campaign recently won gold awards in health care marketing in both the national Aster Awards and the 26th Annual Healthcare Advertising Awards competitions.

A new recruitment web site: RegionalWestPhysicians.com was launched this month as part of the comprehensive integrated marketing campaign designed to recruit at least 25 new physicians in the next five years.

“RegionalWestPhysicians.com allows interested parties to experience Regional West and the Scottsbluff/Gering community up close and personal,” said Stuart Fulks, Regional West vice president of marketing and strategic planning. “From its panoramic videography to its comprehensive array of community and hospital information, the web site sets an industry standard in online physician recruitment marketing material.”

Regional West currently hosts approximately 25 on-site physician interviews per year. “Many times, when a physician candidate explores a Regional West employment opportunity he or she will tell us during the hospital tour, ‘I had no idea how incredible this place is’,” said Lisa Steele, physician recruitment manager. “They are genuinely impressed by the facility, the community, and the people.”

According to Fulks, the real challenge is educating the physician candidate about the many assets of the hospital and community while he or she is online looking for opportunities.

“Regional West should never be passed over because of someone’s misguided perceptions about the level of care Regional West offers, the breadth of services we provide or the community we serve,” said Fulks

That’s why RegionalWestPhysicians.com, was created. The site launches with majestic aerial views of the landscape starting from the Wildcat Hills and ending at the front steps of Regional West Medical Center. The site touts wide open spaces, family friendly towns and a Level II Trauma Center.

It is a wealth of information about the innovative local medical community, western living, schools, real estate, cost of living, tax structure, employment opportunities, outdoor activities, entertainment opportunities, recreation and arts.

By accessing the web site, physician candidates can learn much of what they need to know about Regional West before they arrive for their first interview.
