Regional West Health Services Welcomes Two Neurosurgeons
SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb., - Regional West Medical Center and Panhandle Health Services are pleased to announce that Omar Jimenez, MD and Alan Dixon, MD will be joining Western Plains Neurosurgery effective July 1st and August 1st respectively. Their arrival reinforces Regional West’s commitment to its Level II Trauma Center designation and ensures continuous neurosurgical coverage for the community.
Dr. Jimenez holds a medical degree from George Washington University and completed his neurosurgery residency at the University of Miami, Jackson Memorial Hospital, in Florida. He has been practicing since 2000 in the Atlanta, Georgia area.
Dr. Dixon holds a medical degree from Queens University in Kingston, Ontario and completed his neurosurgery residency at St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto, Ontario. He has practiced in various Canadian and American locations since 1985, most recently in Santa Ana, California.
