Regional West Medical Center Lifts Visitation Restrictions
SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. – Regional West Medical Center is lifting visitation restrictions which were implemented recently due to an enterovirus outbreak in the Scottsbluff-Gering area. Based on consultation with regional infectious disease specialists, it was decided that the visitation restrictions, which affected children under the age of 18, were no longer necessary.
As always, anyone experiencing a fever or cough should refrain from visiting any part of the hospital for social reasons.
Regional West reminds people to protect themselves from the spread of viruses by washing their hands frequently.
