Kindness, Professionalism, and Compassion Earns Regional West Employee a Third Quarter STAR Award

Regional West recently recognized Brytni McLaughlin as a third quarter STAR award recipient. 

The STAR program at Regional West encourages employees, patients, their family members, and visitors to nominate employees who demonstrate outstanding care and customer service.

McLaughlin is a registered nurse on 3 East. Her nomination from a patient read, “I was bucked off a horse and spent five days in your hospital – three days in ICU and two days on the 3rd floor. We live in Utah and so it was difficult to be away from home. One of your caregivers made such a difference in my stay on the 3rd floor. It was as though she was caring for a member of her own family. She truly exemplifies what healthcare is all about. I thank her for making my difficult experience so much better. She deserves two stars for her kindness, professionalism, and her compassion!”
