Regional West Recognizes National Home Care and Hospice Month
SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb., ―During November, Regional West is proud to honor the nurses, home care aides, therapists, social workers, and countless others who provide care for patients and families in home care and hospice. These caregivers play a prominent role in our healthcare system and in homes across the Nebraska panhandle.
“We are proud to serve our communities through Regional West Home Care and Hospice services,” said Amy Kicken, BSN, RN, Regional West Director of Home Care and Hospice. “Through the variety of services offered by Regional West Home Care, our patients can receive the care needed to recover in the comfort of their home.”
Regional West developed Nebraska’s first home care service in 1967 with the mission of providing comprehensive in-home and supportive services for patients and their families. Regional West Home Care offers a variety of services from short-term to long-term management care for different illnesses and conditions. Regional West Home Care is a certified Medicare/Medicaid provider.
Regional West Hospice provides support and specialized care for terminally ill individuals and their families.
Services provided through Regional West Hospice allow for patients and their families to receive care that alleviates suffering and improves the quality of life for people and their families in the Nebraska panhandle and eastern Wyoming.
