Registration Underway for Air Link’s Annual Education Conference
SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb., – Air Link will host its annual Education Conference Saturday, September 24 at Regional West Medical Center. All first responders, emergency medical response personnel, and hospital personnel are invited to attend free of charge and receive EMS continuing education credit.
The Education Conference will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Regional West Education Center, on the upper level of the hospital’s main lobby at 4021 Avenue B, Scottsbluff, Neb.
Keynote speaker Dr. David Schoenfeld of Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston will present a program on “Termination of Resuscitation and Lessons Learned from the Boston Marathon Bombing.” The conference will include hands-on skill stations including farm equipment, and an Emergency Medical Services mental health update focusing on the Code Green campaign.
EMS continuing education hours will be offered, in part, through a grant from the Nebraska Emergency Medical Services Program (NEMSP). Nursing continuing education hours will be applied for. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Register online by September 14 at rwhs.org/air-link-ems-conference. Regional West employees should register through SWANK, using course number 265.
