Time to Submit “My Favorite Nurse” Nominations For Nebraska Nurses Association District V Contest
Scottsbluff, NE – Do you know an outstanding nurse who deserves special recognition? The Nebraska Nurses Association, District V, invites you to submit her or his name for its annual “My Favorite Nurse” contest. Community members are encouraged to nominate a nurse who has made a positive impact on their life or on the life of a family member or friend.
The “My Favorite Nurse” contest is part of the local organization’s National Nurses Week celebration. Nominees must be panhandle-area registered nurses who are licensed in Nebraska. Nominations can be submitted by patients, their families, doctors, colleagues, nurse faculty or nursing students, but nurses may not nominate themselves.
Entries must be received by April 23. Nominees and the winner will be recognized at the NNA District V Special Nurses Day celebration on May 3.
Nominations should include the name, address, and phone number (if available) of the nurse along with an explanation, in 50 words or less, of why this person is your favorite nurse. Describe her or his attributes and actions, giving specific examples if possible. Mail your entry to: NNA District V, P.O. Box 51, Scottsbluff, NE 69363 or email your entry to hansonn@rwmc.net.
