SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb., -Regional West Medical Center and Horizons West Medical Group, P.C. will host a walk-in flu shot clinic for adults and children on Tuesday, December 5 from 7 to 10 a.m. and again from 4 to 7 p.m. The clinic will be held at the Community Health office located at the Regional West South Unit, 3700 Avenue B, Scottsbluff.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) encourages flu shots for
--Persons over age 65
--Persons with chronic medical conditions such as asthma, diabetes or heart disease
--Household members and caregivers of children or elderly persons
--Children six months through four years of age
--Health care workers

The cost for flu shots is $25. Pneumonia shots are $35. Payment may be made by cash or check. Medicare Part B will be billed for those who bring their cards.
