West Nebraska Blood Center Returns to Regional West Main Campus
SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb., ― After a temporary move to Scottsbluff’s Hampton Inn and Suites, West Nebraska Blood Center is resuming operations in Regional West’s main campus Monday, June 15.
West Nebraska Blood Center is returning to its former location near the Park Bench Café. The blood center is seeing donors at the Hampton Inn location until noon on Friday, June 12. North Plaza Laboratory Services will also resume regular operations in its main campus location at Regional West Medical Plaza North, Suite 2500 on June 15.
As an increased safety precaution for Regional West patients and staff, West Nebraska Blood Center and North Plaza Laboratory Services temporarily relocated to Scottsbluff’s Hampton Inn and Suites in April. The blood center offers blood draws and receives blood donations, while North Plaza Laboratory Services provides phlebotomy and specimen drop-off services.
West Nebraska Blood Center is open Monday through Friday. Walk-ins are accepted, but appointments are preferred. For the current week’s blood drive schedule or to make an appointment, call 308-630-2477.
All Regional West healthcare facilities continue to screen all employees and patients for COVID-related symptoms upon entry.
