For almost 30 years, Inn Touch has provided its patients, patients' families, physicians, providers, medical residents, nursing students and employees a place to stay when needed. With many of the benefits of a hotel and a home-like atmosphere, Regional West Inn Touch is an economical place to stay when you need to be close to Regional West Medical Center.

Staffed by volunteers, Regional West's Gift Shop is located in the hospital's main lobby. Gift Shop profits go directly to the Volunteers and Friends of Regional West and are used to fund health care-related scholarships, programs, and equipment.

With new inventory arriving weekly, the Gift Shop offers a variety of gift choices as well as fresh and silk floral arrangements, reading material, cards, jewelry, and candy.

Located in what used to be St. Mary’s chapel, Regional West's library is a peaceful oasis for anyone needing medical information. Students, University of Nebraska Medical Center faculty, and staff of Regional West Medical Center have access to all library services. Community members are welcome to use in-house library services or to check out available consumer health resources.

Hospitalization often creates stress for both patients and their families. Simply trying to understand the medical terminology used can be difficult and frustrating. Regional West Medical Center recognizes that addressing these stress factors is critical during a patient’s healing process.

At Regional West Medical Center, a patient and guest experience specialist is available to assist patients and families. Our goal is to provide you with exceptional care and be responsive to your needs.

Regional West Medical Center recognizes the vital role spiritual support plays in exceptional healthcare. Our chaplain offers a nondenominational ministry that is available to you and your loved ones during your time in the hospital.

Pastoral care is available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and after hours in urgent or emergency situations.

We strive to process all medical records requests within five to seven business days, but according to the Health Information Portability & Accountability Act (HIPAA), Regional West is allowed 30 days to complete a request. However, factors such as record availability, size of the record, and the volume of requests will affect response time. You may pick up your records between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding all federal holidays or by special appointment. Please bring photo identification with you.
