Regional West Hosts Third Annual “Boxer Rebellion” 5k Run/Walk to Raise Colon Cancer Awareness
SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb., – Runners and walkers of all ages are encouraged to participate in Regional West’s Third Annual Boxer Rebellion, a 5k run/walk to be held Saturday, March 21.
The family-friendly event, organized to raise colon cancer awareness, is sponsored by the Scottsbluff Surgery Center, Regional West Community Health, and the Scotts Bluff County Health Department. Proceeds from the event will be donated to the Festival of Hope.
Registration will be from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. at the Scottsbluff Surgery Center located at 4022 Avenue B, Scottsbluff, just west of the Regional West Emergency Department. The cost is $12 per person. The race will begin at 9 a.m.
Participants are invited to wear family-friendly, outrageous, fun, or just plain goofy outfits that support colon cancer awareness.
