- Region I Office of Human Development is an organization dedicated to helping individuals with Intellectual Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) with offices in Alliance, Chadron, Scottsbluff, and Sidney.
- Region I Behavioral Health Authority offers a Professional Partner Program (PPP) to coordinate services and support for families with children and adolescents with severe emotional disturbance. This program provides families in Banner, Box Butte, Cheyenne, Dawes, Deuel, Garden, Kimball, Morrill, Scotts Bluff, Sheridan, and Sioux counties access to a comprehensive, individualized support plan.
- Panhandle Partnership offers a list of resources for a variety of agencies, networks, and services for residents in western Nebraska.
- ESU 13 Panhandle Beginnings Day Treatment (PbDTx) program provides day treatment services to youth in third through eighth grades who have been identified by the PbDTx multidisciplinary team to have intensive emotional and behavioral diagnoses.
- Panhandle Public Health District (PPHD) Living Well workshops help participants with chronic conditions such as diabetes, arthritis, high blood pressure, heart disease, pain, or anxiety get support and learn strategies to have a better quality of life.
- Northwest Community Action Partnership (NCAP) serves low-income residents with anti-poverty plans, projects, programs, and services in Box Butte, Cherry, Dawes, Sheridan, and Sioux counties, including head start and early head start, housing and weatherization, community services/family development, a retired senior volunteer program, and Sheridan County public transportation.
- Western Community Health Resources (WCHR) provides multiple family and behavioral health services. They have locations in Alliance, Chadron, and Gordon.
- Youth Transition Services (YTS) is a service of Western Community Health Resources aimed at individuals aged 16 to 18 who have behavioral health issues, mood disorders, eating disorders, behavioral disorders, and/or substance abuse issues. This program helps individuals work with a YTS worker to get assistance and develop skills, knowledge, and abilities related to living independently.
- Parent Training: Circle of Security is a relationship-based parenting education model that gives participants the opportunity to learn skills to raise happy, confident, and secure children. This is a service of Western Community Health Resources.
- Nebraska Parenting Classes – C.O.P.E. is produced by Nebraska experts specifically for Nebraska parents. These classes teach participants about custody, creating a parenting plan, and the mediation process for parents going through a divorce, legal separation, paternity action, or modified court order or parenting plan.
